August Ames has been featured many times on this website before (Best Natural Tits, Teen Pornstars & Brunette Pornstars) – unfortunately though we’ll never be able to feature her again because at the tender age of 23 August Ames has been found dead in her home in Camarillo, California.
The passing of August must have been a shock for her family and friends, she didn’t had any medical conditions, however, she was ‘apparently‘ struggling with depression, how such a beautiful, talented and what seemed to be a happy girl suffers with depression is beyond us. The report by the ‘Ventura County Health Care Agency’ indicates that August took her own life by way of hanging:
“Mercedes Grabowski died of asphyxia due to hanging, Manner is suicide.”
As well as obviously being a terrible loss for her loved ones, it’s also a terrible loss for the porn industry, she was one of the most popular pornstars of this generation and the though of having a porn industry without her in is saddens us as it did a lot of her co performers and studios:

And despite what people think about the porn industry, there’s a lot of love and respect between fellow pornstars and even porn studios, it’s like a family bond – which is why Brazzers postponed their latest August Ames scene until it was more appropriate to release it

Although we don’t know for certain that August was suffering from depression, and that depression was the key cause of her taking her own life, the probability is high that it was and this should remind us all of just how soul destroying a mental illness such as depression and even anxiety can be. If you’ve ever seen an interview with August you will know that she always seemed to be a really happy and a genuinely nice person which makes this news even more sad.
I’m sure we’re saying this for all porn lovers out there when we say “August, we love you, and we always will – Rest in Peace beautiful”.
